Important Information if you are Dry Camping:
110 Outlets, Microwave & TV: You must run a Generator for these items to operate. PLEASE OBSERVE RV PARK RULES ON GENERATOR HOURS.
Generator: DON'T PLACE GAS CANS NEAR GENERATOR DUE TO FIRE RISK. When starting the generator make sure the A/C is turned off. Please let the generator run for at least 15 minutes prior to starting the A/C. Only run the A/C on low selection. Please don't run the A/C and Microwave at the same time.
-PLEASE BRING ANY AND ALL GAS FOR THE GENERATOR. WE DO NOT PROVIDE GASOLINE. 5 Gallons will run the Generator appox 8-10 hrs.
Please visit the Generator Page for Instructions
Batteries: To maintain your batteries please run a Generator for at least 3 hours a day.
Fridge: Keep your Fridge closed as much as possible and try to not over load it with food. Also, keep food away from the upper fins. Example-- Keeping your Fridge open as long as 2 minutes can deplete all your cold air. Thus taking additional 60-75 minutes to cool down again (Longer on hot days). Also, over packing the fridge will cause cold air not to circulate properly.
Furnace: Use the Furnace sparingly, as it will deplete your Batteries quickly.
Water Heater: Most RV Water Heaters are between 6-10 gallons depending on the unit. It will take about 30-45 minutes to heat your tank between showers. Here is information on the Water Heater.
Fresh Water Usage: If you are Dry Camping please conserve water as much as possible. If you run out of water we cannot refill your tank under any circumstances. We recommend using the showers at the campground to conserve water. Please see this short video on how to take a shower in a RV.
When showering conserve water as much as possible. Most RVers will rinse, then shut the water off, lather then rinse off. Try the same method while washing dishes. –Example: One 10-minute shower with constant water flowing could deplete as much as 50-80 gallons of water.
Keys: Please be gentle with locks and make sure the key is inserted completely when using.
Toilet: Only use approved RV Toilet paper. Using anything other than that will cause your toilet to clog up. Also, limit the quantity of Toilet Paper you use. Using too much toilet paper will also clog up the toilet.
Departure Time: General pick up time is 10:30am, please make sure you have your personal items removed by pickup time.
Cleaning: We ask that you leave the unit in the same condition you received it in to avoid cleaning fees.
